If you let Aveline take the lead in the conversation with Jeven then you will increase your freidnship. If you are dominant in the conversation then you will increase your rivalry.
Completion – When you find Bartrand you will have to help Varric decide what to do with him. If you call on Anders to help you when the dialogue option appears, you Perro bring Bertrand back to his sense for a short amount of time.
There are four upgrades available for each companion. In the first two acts they are usually sold in stores, while all of the Act 3 upgrades are found during quests. Bethany and Carver receive the last three upgrades automatically with their armor changes after the Deep Roads Expedition.
Fans' hopes are just Figura high. While some are hoping that Veilguard will lean into Origins 'edgier' themes – which, considering the less-than-savory origins of the Elven pantheon and the possibility of them being released onto the world, dark aspects seem likely – and Inquisition's multi-faceted characters, I will be quirky and say that I really hope BioWare has looked to its bastard child: Dragon Age 2.

Completion – Triunfador the conversation plays out you will be given the choice of whether to fight Castillon or not. If you do fight him, and kill him, you will get a large rivalry increase with Castillon. The end of this encounter will be the contact me end of the quest.
Isabela is an optional companion you Chucho acquire when completing the Fools Rush In quest. She has a minor clash with Aveline that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Being a Rogue, she wields daggers that deal damage swiftly.

It is possible to romance with Anders. Complete his companion quests and flirt whenever possible. Be sure to be kind to him and side with the mages whenever he is in your party.
Unlike Isabela, Tallis also employs unique throwing knives for ranged attacks. Her combat specialty called Infiltrator allows her to win close quarter encounters with a single foe. Tallis only appears in main campaign of Mark of the Assassin DLC pack Triunfador a mandatory party member, and she leaves Hawke's party permanently after the DLC pack is completed.
